WELCOME TO OMAHA! Omaha, the largest city in Nebraska, with 432,921 inhabitants, has more to offer than cattle and corn Home of Five Fortune Five Hundred Companies: Conagra Foods, Birkshire Hathaway, Union Pacific, Peter Keiwit and Sons Inc. It is also headquarters or centers of operations for several internet companies including Paypal, TD Ameritrade, LinkedIn and The Gallup Organization. Omaha has several crowd magnets including the College World Series which takes place in the Rosenblatt Stadium and the Henry Doorly Zoo, Nebraska’s largest attraction. DOUBLETREE HOTEL INFORMATION Complimentary Shuttle from Eppley Airport to the Conference Hotel The DoubleTree Hotel provides a complimentary shuttle to and from the airport. To take the shuttle, use a courtesy phone at the airport to call 402 346 7600. Tell the phone operator your name and your and a shuttle will be sent out. The shuttle runs every half an hour on the hour as needed. The shuttle operator will specify a meeting place close to your airline (usually Door 2 or Door 4). Joslyn Art Museum The premier fine arts museum of the state of Nebraska. The museum contains both ancient and modern art, focusing on art from the 19th and 20th centuries. MORE THINGS TO SEE IN OMAHA Henry Doorly Zoo (part of social event Thursday Morning) Nebraska’s hottest attraction, featuring the largest indoor rainforest in the United states, the largest cat complex, and the largest indoor swamp. Omaha Playhouse Omaha’s community playhouse is the largest in the country.
